Cancelled Bangkok GPO 14-6-41, Thai black circular hand stamp 10, and black hand stamp A.V.2 Smythe Type 6 struck on at P.O. Sydney black hand stamp 6mm. high CALIFORNIA CLIPPER applied. Letter thence recensored, resealed with tape 2 "OPENED BY CENSOR" Smythe type 2-5 tied by violet hand stamp PASSED BY CENSOR S118 (on front and back) before being sent to USA. 14-6-41 was a Saturday, KLM flight in June 1941 left on Sundays at 8.15 am. PAA left Auckland every 2 weeks on Fridays arriving in San Francisco 4 days later. Letter would have been flown across USA back stamped Brookline 2.30pm 17 Jul. 1941, a Friday.
