| 1908: unpaid picture
post card from Cologne, Germany to (A)Yutia near Bangkok,
Thailand. The post card was cancelled "CÖLN" 06/06/08 and
taxed
(T marking) with 20 and 25 ctms. The "Bangkok 2" cds in blue
shows the date 07/07/1908. Four further Siamese postmarks of
"Bangkok 5 / 5a" and "Krungkao" are dated 07 + 11 + 16/07/08. The address did not exist (anymore?) so the card was returned. Framed postal handstamps "INCONNU / UNKNOWN" and "RETOUR / RETURNED" were used and a violet "Retour" was applied. The "Cöln" arrival cancel 05/11/08 shows the delivery to sender. |
